Biography

Mr. Fordham is a Senior Consultant with Transportation and Logistics Advisors, LLC. For over 25 years, he has provided project management and support for transportation and logistics projects for carriers, shippers and investors across multiple modes. He has significant focus on strategic, operational, organizational, market research and due diligence assignments, and also has extensive experience in the energy/mining sector. Examples of projects include:

• Analysis of entry strategies for new transportation markets for parcel carrier
• Review of intermodal marketplace for motor carrier
• Due diligence analysis to support potential acquisition of motor carrier focused on plastics
• Due diligence analysis to support potential acquisition of motor carrier focused on cross-border transportation between the U.S. and Mexico
• Due diligence analysis of motor carrier focused on hauling automobiles
• Evaluation of exchange-based transportation markets for motor carrier
• Evaluation of ocean CFS market and services for warehousing firm
• Analysis and market assessment of 3PL market for railroad
• Assessment of transportation technology marketplace for private equity firm
• Evaluation of North American truckload brokerage market and trends for private equity firm
• Packaged railroad freight operations for sale and conducted public policy analysis and hearings to review potential public impacts for transit agency
• Led numerous projects in diverse areas – strategy, operations, maintenance, market research, competitive assessment, information systems, other – for major railroad

Mr. Fordham was formerly a Principal at Norbridge, Inc. and a Senior Associate at Mercer Management Consulting (Oliver Wyman). He was also Manager of Planning for the Energy Marketing Department at Conrail, and a corporate planner for Standard Oil Company of Ohio.

Mr. Fordham holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with focus in finance and corporate planning and an A.B. degree from Harvard College with focus in government and economics.
